These shoes are hand made in house by our craftsman Jeffrey Hedgecock. Each is individually lasted on a custom last shaped like medieval lasts (not modern lasts), carefully hand stitched, turned and hand finished. These are not made to look like turnshoes, they are turnshoes- expertly crafted one by one. Excellent quality at an affordable price.

Shoes close with Pewter buckles, hand cast in our own shop and patterned after medieval originals. The perfect shoe to wear with any medieval outfit; these shoes have proven very workable with most armours, in that the closure is low-profile, which shouldn't interfere with most greave bottoms or spur straps.
