Quarrelhead

A heavy armour piercing head, designed for use on crossbow bolts/quarrels.

Many quarrelheads survive, and our example is faithfully based on those found by metal detectorists at medieval battlefields scattered across central and northern Europe and England.

Overall length: 3-1/4" (8.2 cm).
Socket sized to fit 3/8" (1 cm) shaft.
Weight: approx. 17 grams.
