Horn Cup, 5"

Horn was the plastic of the middle ages, and utilitarian objects such as knife handles, combs, lantern panels, window panes, spoons and cups were made from it.

Our cup is hand crafted of specially cleaned, treated and polished cow horn. The base is made from a piece of flattened & polished horn attached with strong resin. Engraved line beneath rim adds a nice bit of detail. Holds any cold or room temperature liquid, not recommended for hot liquids.
