We source all of the handwoven braids we use from Elisabeth DaBorn in England.  Elisabeth is a fibre artist with a decades long reputation for producing the hightest quality reproduction and historically informed tablet woven braids. A long standing member of Regia Anglorum, Elisabeth's weaving meets Regia's authenticity standard and her work can be seen at reenactments, historic sites and museums across Britain.

Elisabeth offers stock lengths of braid and custom work thru her Etsy shop Earth Tribes Design. Order braid directly from her and we will be happy to apply it to your Historic Enterprises / Black Swan Designs hat, tunic, gown or other garment. Cost for braid and application vary by the project and are quoted separately.
