  • Model: HAA-custom

I built this one for my main jousting horse Leopold, on a tree I had made for him by my friend Joram van Essen, way back in 2015.

Fully steeled for war or jousting use. The seat is velvet, with hand-stitched quilting, and skirting is chenille brocade. The edges of the seat covering is edged with nickel plated stamped brass crescents, denoting my membership in the Order of the Crescent jousting brotherhood. Of note also are the bolts attaching the steels to the tree, which I custom made and file-decorated.

Wood, mild steel, leather, linen, fibreglass, textile, brass.

Jeffrey Hedgecock, 2024.

Available on custom order only. Please call for details.
