Working Equitation Clinic w/ Steve Mallett

This Working Equitation Clinic is open to riders of all levels who would like to have a fun day trying something new with their horse. Clinic will focus on 'Ease of Handling', navigating obstacles simulating things one would encounter in the field- gates, backing down a corridor, and sideways over a pole, as well as 'fun' obstacles like spearing a ring, carrying objects and passing thru a doorway. If necessary, students will be broken up into groups by riding ability, with obstacles appropriate for each group. 

Instructor- Steve Mallett
The instructor for this clinic will be Steve Mallett, a resident of England and professional horseman of 30 years experience. Steve has owned and trained Spanish horses for almost 20 years. He has trained extensively in the Doma Vaquera style, and has performed Spanish and Classical riding displays for many years. Steve works with horses and riders in the film and television industry, and has appeared most recently in Warhorse, Wrath of the Titans, Jack the Giant Killer, 47 Ronin, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Robin Hood, among others.
