Gown, Early Medieval, Childrens', Linen

Simple, "A" shaped body has round neckline which pulls on over the head. Wrist length sleeves have an underarm gore for freedom of movement. Cut is a simplified, ungored version of the the Skjoldehamn Kyrtle. A perfect canvas for embroidery and other decoration.

Sizes are based on body measurements, not modern sizes.  Measure your child to determine the correct size. Gowns are made extra long and with longer sleeves especially designed to accommodate a young child's shape. The extra length provides for large hems at the bottom and wrist.  Of the same quality fabrics and as well made as our adult's clothing, these gowns will easily survive several rounds of hand-me-downs!
