This wooden wheel barrow is fashioned after a pattern from the 1800's, but similar styles were in use during the Middle Ages and may be seen in the works of Albrecht Durer and Pieter Bruegel, as well as the Schilling Chronicles and Mittelalterliches Hausbuch.
Each high quality wheelbarrow is made by Amish craftsmen in Lancaster County PA. Wheelbarrow has an all-hardwood body and wheels of solid steam bent hickory. The wheels have a a wooden hub and are bound with metal bands. Wheelbarrow easily handles a payload of 50#, and removable sides accommodate oversized loads with ease.
Ash hardwood throughout. Available in natural wood or red stain. Delivered packed flat, some simple assembly required.
