Wax, Archer's & Cordwainer's

Made according to an English recipe, using gum rosin and beeswax. Also called 'code', as in the Hastings Manuscript reference to arming points-

"Also they muste be wexid with cordeweneris coode."

Great for waxing bowstrings or thread for leather work. Strengthens stitches, thread and cord and also aids your grip on the needle.
