A style seen in many paintings by Rogier van der Weyden, including the "Seven Sacraments" altarpiece and "Calvary Triptych", Campin's "Merode Triptych", and many other woodcuts, paintings and drawings of the 15th C.. Our 2 piece design is attractive and simple to wear. The funnel-shaped wimple slips on over the head and frames the face without pins or ties. The long rectangular veil is typical of the 15th C. (as opposed to earlier oval veils) and may be worn folded or draped in many different ways. Comes with pins to secure and arrange veil.
