Braiding kit- 'A Round Lace of V Bowes'

A braid described in mss Harley 2320 [c. 1450] in the British Library. Produces a tight, square braid with a chevron pattern that is excellent for arming and dress points.

Make the projects in the kit to learn the pattern, and once you have the technique use it to make arming or dress points, purse or hat strings, friendship bracelets or a host of other useful and decorative cords. 

Kit makes 3  braids approx 8” long.  Each braid is finished with either  a slide latch clip, a key ring or a lanyard clip as shown in photo.  Please note: Colours will vary from photo.

Skill level- Moderate - Prior fingerbraiding experience helpful but not
necessary.

1- split key ring

15- strands of acrylic yarn.  Cut to length, ass’t colours
1- shoe lace
1- Sheet- Intro to finger braiding
