Sallet, Italian export, circa 1460, Spring Steel

This helmet is based on typical examples of sallets manufactured in Italy, and often exported to countries all over Europe. Features a brow reinforce integral to the visor.

Available on Custom order, available in 3 sizes:
Small- fits up to 22" forehead circumference
Medium- fits up to 23" forehead circumference
Large- fits up to 24" forehead circumference

Leather lining attachment strip installed.

A hand-made quilted linen liner is available separately.

Hardened and tempered .072" (~2mm) thick 1050 Spring steel.
