Le Verre Historique Glassware

Historical Replica glassware from LaVerre Historique of Belgium. Handblown pieces made one at a time. Available in the US only from Historic Enterprises.

We have examined the glass exhibited at the UK shows by various vendors and while their wares are fine, we still believe Le Verre Historique does the very best reproduction glass. Apparently museums feel the same way, as their work is seen in museums throughout France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc.

Although LVH owner and master glassblower Eva Bartova speaks 7 languages, she isn't fluent in English. Because of the communication difficulty she isn't comfortable with retail sales to the US, so you can't order directly from her. We have a long established relationship with Eva, so we've made an arrangement with to expand Historic Enterprises' glassware offerings.

Beginning immediately, we're pleased to announce that you can order any item from the Le Verre Historique website thru Historic Enterprises.

Le Verre Historique website

With hundreds of replicas covering Gallo Roman, Mergovingian, Frankish and Viking thru the Middle Ages and Renaissance and even into modern periods, this partnership vastly expands the American re-enactors glass options.

To order from the Le Verre Historique site, email gwen@historicenterprises.com with the reference number and a description of the period and piece you'd like a price on. We will get the price from Eva, calculate shipping to your address, estimate delivery time, and call or send the info back to you promptly.
