IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR ORDER BY A SPECIFIC DAY, PLEASE NOTE THE "NEED BY" DATE IN YOUR ORDER COMMENTS.
If you don't note a specific "need by" date, we will usually process your order within 5-7 business days.

We are a "mom and pop" business. We do pretty much everything ourselves, including shipping orders. We appreciate your patience.

PLEASE NOTE- In determining domestic transit time (within the continental USA), do not count the day your order ships as a transit day. For example, if we process your order on Monday and you've selected priority mail shipping, the 2 transit days are Tuesday and Wednesday. You can expect to receive your order on Wednesday, the 2nd transit day.

  • Check or money order -- made payable to "Historic Enterprises, Inc." If paid by check, we will hold your order until the payment clears our bank, which may delay your order several business days. Please bear this in mind if your order is time-sensitive.

For orders within the continental USA

We ship via

  • USPS First Class (in most cases for small items- not insured, tracked)
  • USPS Priority Mail (insured, tracked)
  • USPS Priority Mail Express (insured, tracked) Please be advised that in most circumstances Express does not arrive quicker than regular priority. If you have a time sensitive order, please contact us by phone (760-789-2299).
  • UPS by special arrangement...this can be helpful on larger size products.

  • US Postal Service Priority Mail International (insured, tracked)
  • US Postal Service Priority Mail Express International (insured, tracked)

-- To APO and FPO addresses

  • USPS Priority Mail (insured, tracked)

Please allow up to 5-7 business days to process your order and an additional 14-21 business days for transit, depending on your location. Some countries process shipments quickly, others take longer. We are typically unable to track shipments once they leave the USA.

Customs duty, brokerage fees, VAT, applicable taxes, additional receiving costs, etc. are solely the responsibility of the purchaser and WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. We are sorry, but we are not able to determine the amount you will be charged for any of these costs, as these charges vary greatly for each country.

We cannot intentionally mislabel your order with the intention of avoiding customs fees. Doing so is a Federal offense which would jeopardize our shipping privileges, and expose us to fines and possible imprisonment. Please don’t ask.

Expedited Shipping

We can ship via any expedited USPS method, as noted above. Additional rates apply, please note which service you require when placing your order.

Other shipping methods
We have other carriers available to us, such as UPS, FedEx, Air Freight or Surface post. Additional rates apply, please inquire for details.

  • All orders are insured for loss or damage in transit.
  • Shipping costs are a total of actual shipping and insurance charges quoted by the carrier, plus any additional handling/packaging costs required based on merchandise ordered.

Gift wrapping
We will gift wrap your order in beautiful medieval style gift wrap, tie it with a fabric ribbon, hand address a gift enclosure, and send to the address of your choosing! Cost based on size of order, starting at $4.50. Please inquire when you place your order.

Exchanges and Returns

Please inspect your order upon receipt.

  • If there is a problem with your order or merchandise has been damaged in shipment, please notify us immediately.
  • Claims or return requests must be made within 14 days of receipt of order.
  • No claims, returns or exchanges after 14 days.
  • To initiate a damage claim or request a return, please call our order department at 760-789-2299, or email customerservice@historicenterprises.com for a return authorization number.
  • We will determine if merchandise should be replaced or exchanged, or if a credit is appropriate.
  • Items authorized for return or exchange must be received by us in original unused condition within 14 days for replacement, exchange or credit.
  • All returns and exchanges must be authorized. Unauthorized returns or exchanges will not be accepted. 
  • Returns/exchanges must include original invoice and authorization number. 
  • Returns may be subject to a 20% restock fee, at our discretion. We will notify you when approving your return if applicable.
  • Shipping and handling charges will not be credited. 
  • Please allow at least 4 weeks for processing your return or exchange. 
  • If items are damaged in shipment, please retain all packing materials. We must file a claim with the carrier and they may require inspection of the packing materials to approve the claim.

Warrantee

  • All our merchandise is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Clothing is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from date of purchase, ASSUMING PROPER CARE AND APPROPRIATE USE OF THE GARMENT BY THE PURCHASER DURING THAT YEAR.
  • This warrantee does not apply if a product is modified in any way, abused or used for a purpose or in a manner other than it was intended.
  • Our products are intended as replicas only and the user assumes any and all liability for their use.
