Coif, Arming, Linen

The cut of our arming coif is based on a 16th.C pattern.  The 3 piece design allows the coif to fit snugly around the head and face, keeping the hair in place, absorbing sweat and even protecting the knight's ears when donning and removing his helmet! Its absorbent quality also helps protect the helmet liner from sweat and dirt.

The coif is made of garment weight white linen that is completely washable and will soften with use. It has sturdy twill tapes that tie under the chin.  For best results it should fit very closely, so err on the small side when chosing your size.

This is the same arming coif which is included with our arming doublet.

• S- up to 21" head (good for those with a smaller skull and/or very short or cropped hair)
• M- 22-24" head (this size fits most, all the models are wearing this size)
• L- 24-26" head (good for those with a large skull and/or an abundance of hair)
