Trousers, Anglo-Saxon, Wool-look

These trousers are roomy in the thigh and taper to fit more closely on the calf.  Insertion between the legs thru the crotch allow for freedom of movement. Adjustable drawstring waist tie.

Further research indicates this gusseted version may be the correct design of the Skjoldenhamn trousers (rcd 1029), rather than the ungusseted reconstruction in Nockert.

  • One size fits waists up to 40" waist, 34" inseam.
  • Large fits waist up to 50" waist, 36" inseam.
  • Generously cut garment- order smaller size for a closer fit, larger size for fuller fit.

Trousers are made up in a washable blend that gives the appearance of wool. Most will pass the Regia Authenticity standards. Please let us know if RA compliance is important.

Please note: Colours for this range have been carefully matched to natural dye samples. Please refer to the Fabric Colours, Weaves and Information section. Black warp/brown weft tabby weave shown is no longer available.

This product has been developed in consultation with the Authenticity Officers for Regia Anglorum in the US and UK, as well as the Authenticity Officers for the Vikings UK and NA. Although it is policy for both groups to avoid giving blanket endorsements to vendors, this garment conforms to current Regia Anglorum and Vikings kit standards.

REGIA ANGLORUM UPDATE 27 JANUARY 2015- These trousers comply with the most recent rulings regarding fit if they are worn with leg bindings/winingas.  A closer fit is required if you plan to wear them unbound; if you plan to wear them without leg bindings please send your calf measurement and we will custom tailor them to your leg at no additional charge.
