The manuscript goes on to say a man should have on the field 'a dosen tresses of armynge poyntis'- prudent advice, as without them armour is as useless as a cart without wheels!

Made to work with our arming doublet and a standard 15th C. plate harness, this budget priced package will give you a popular and field-tested combination of points to get your harness up and running.  Arming points are made of strong and supple round braided Romanian linen cord for attaching plate and maille. Lighter weight round braided cotton close the front of the doublet. Both materials have metal chapes firmly attached on both ends. The set contains:

• 12 - 22"-24" long, round braided linen cord with metal chapes on both ends
  • 2- Pauldrons for spaudlers
  • 3 for each arm harness
  • 2 for each leg harness
• 6 - 22"-24" long, round braided cotton cord with metal chapes on both ends
