Rosary, 'St. Anthony' (1475)

All of our prayer beads are based on extant originals or visual examples. This group is patterned after the paternoster held by St. Anthony in The Portinari Tryptych, by Rogier van der Weyden, c. 1435–38, (The National Gallery, London).

St. Anthony’s rosary is a unique combination of rondels, large and small glass, wood and bone beads. Our version copies the number, order, colour and types of beads found in his rosary.

Rosary comes with storage bag and card containing an image and information about the original we’ve copied.
