This beautiful beaker is an example of fine Italian glass work from the end of the 13th century. Like other luxury exports, these elegant glasses were appreciated by the expanding monied class and spread quickly throughout Europe.

Glasses of this type may be found in the collections of the Kunsthandwerk Muzeum in Frankfurt and Dusseldorf Museum of Art.

Hand made in Belgium by Le Verre Historique. Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of this item, dimensions & capacity are approximate and will vary slightly from piece to piece.

Cylindrical shaped body with widely flaring upper edge. Pale green glass with cobalt threads and pinched prunts.

Approx. 3.5" tall, 3.5" at the rim. Approx. 4 oz. capacity.
