Lances & Jousting Equipment

All the products available below have been developed by armourer and jouster Jeffrey Hedgecock and are available only here at Historic Enterprises.

One of very few historical reproduction armourers to actually use their product for what it was intended, since 2003 Mr. Hedgecock regularly competes internationally. He has jousted in tournaments across the globe in such countries as England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and even at home in California. He regularly competes with team mates
Tobias Capwell, Steve Mallett and Dominic Sewell as The Order of the Crescent, the world's only professional international jousting team. They have competed for the Sword of Honour in the international team tournament at the Royal Armouries Museum Leeds England, against teams representing the Compagnie d’Ordinnance (Netherlands), Destrier (England) and the Royal Armouries Museum interpretive staff, and are the only team to have won the competition over 3 consecutive years.

Jeffrey trains new jousters and novice medieval horsemen at his monthly "Knight School" training sessions. For more information see the Knight School home page. Jeffrey's also available for travel to teach and compete. Feel free to email him at jeffrey@historicenterprises.com.
