Armour, Full, Italian (Milanese), circa 1460

A full armour in the Milanese style, intended for jousting and foot combat.

The armour was built with a Great Bascinet after the helm of Frederich "the Victorious", which now resides in the Waffensammlung, Vienna Austria. A rounded Tourney visor as on the original was built, then a tilting visor was made and fitted (shown).

Heat treated 1050 spring steel, leather, linen, brass.
